100 word statement: Model 5 For this project I’ve used photoshop and a variety of model making materials in order to represent my design options. For example, my 5 th model I used balsa wood, aluminium, and cardboard and assisted with lighting and photography enhances the design, mood, and layout I wanted to achieve.  Additionally, digital tools, such as photoshop, enhances these aspects to manipulate the type of and materiality I imagined my space to be. With photoshop I applied 3 different materials, charred and pale coloured timber with painted brick with a backdrop (alpine setting) to enhance my design idea. These techniques created the quality of space as designed.

I added three new materials to my model which include charred timber (my roof and flooring), light timber (for joinery), and white bricks as my wall structure. I played around with these particular materials as I really appreciate and admire cold, snowy landscapes and always dreamed of having a little cabin in a remote area such as this.
